I was looking for the look of a boot without the hassle. This fits that perfectly. The body of the shoe fits fine. The ankle is very loose. I would have liked the elastic to be a little bit tighter. The sole is very thin and hard, which makes it uncomfortable if you walk a lot. I would like to get some insoles, but if I do, I think it will be too tight...
If you work in an office and can sit much of the time, these are fine -- they look dressy enough for the office, and are easy to get on and off.

If you wear tactical boots every day then you might be well advised to pay the extra money for the kind with the side zippers but these fit well, are well made and come in handy on diverse occasions. They also offer wide sizes and that is good for me.

Don't let the price fool you. The quality is great. The shoe is sturdy and the fabric is soft to the touch. The color of the suede is bright and vibrant. The shoe does run small, I received a pair of shoes that were 1 size up from what I normally wear, and it fits good.
